Jeeva Thomas is a Canadian abstract painter based out of Vancouver, BC. He is self-taught, and initially learned to paint as an escape from illness; in the process, he discovered an overwhelming passion and appreciation for artistic expression. A native of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, and a long time resident of Paris, France, his paintings reflect his life journey from island, to urban city, to mountainous terrain. Through vivid colors and knife strokes, Jeeva hopes to celebrate the world and his experiences that both shape, and inspire him as an artist.
